Privacy Policy

What is collected, what is never done with it, and how to exercise every right without creating an account.

Last updated: 2 September 2026

The left column is the policy. The right column says the same thing plainly and is there to be read, not to replace the clause; where the two could be read as differing, the clause on the left governs.

1

Who is responsible

Roxana Vera Boutique LLC is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact details are on the Legal Information page and at the end of this one.

2

What is collected

2.1

What you give us

  • An email address and a password, in order to have an account.
  • The photographs of fabric you upload, and the camera category and distance you state with them.
  • Anything you write to us.
2.2

What is created by using the service

  • The reads produced from your photographs, and how much of your monthly allowance has been used.
  • Billing records: which plan, which period, when a charge was made and whether it succeeded.
  • Security and reliability logs, including IP address and a request timestamp, kept for a short period.
2.3

What is never collected here

Card details never reach this service. Payment is handled by an independent payment services provider and the operator never sees or stores a full card number.

The upload gate refuses photographs of anyone wearing anything. The service does not want, ask for or knowingly hold images of people.

There is no advertising identifier, no cross-site tracking pixel and no third-party analytics profile on this site.

3

Why it is used

  • To provide the service: producing a read from your photograph and showing it back to you.
  • To operate an account, take payment, and meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • To keep the service secure and available, and to investigate abuse.
  • To answer you when you write to us.

For anyone in the EEA or the UK, the legal bases are performance of a contract for the first two, legitimate interests for security and correspondence, and legal obligation for records we are required to keep.

4

Your photographs are not training data

Photographs you upload are used to produce your own read and for nothing
else. They are not used to train, fine-tune, evaluate or improve any model,
ours or anyone else's, and they are not sold, licensed or shared for that
purpose.

There is no setting for this because there is no alternative behaviour to switch between. If that ever changed, it would require your explicit, separate, opt-in consent, and using the service without giving it would remain possible.

5

How long it is kept

  • Photographs and reads: until you delete them, or until 90 days after your account is closed, whichever is first. Deleting one in your account removes the file and the read together.
  • Account records: for as long as you have an account, then 90 days.
  • Billing records: seven years, because tax law requires it.
  • Security logs: 30 days.

Deleting your account deletes your photographs and reads. Billing records survive it because we are required to keep them, and they contain no photographs.

6

Who it is shared with

Nobody is sold anything. The operator does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined in California law. It has not done so in the preceding twelve months.

Personal information is disclosed only to service providers who process it on the operator's written instructions and for no purpose of their own: hosting and storage, the payment services provider, and email delivery. Each is bound to the same restrictions.

Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

7

Your rights

7.1

What you can ask for

  • To know what is held about you and where it came from.
  • To receive a copy in a portable form.
  • To correct anything inaccurate.
  • To delete it.
  • To limit the use of sensitive personal information — although the service is designed not to collect any.
  • To opt out of any sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, which does not happen here in any case.
  • For anyone in the EEA or the UK: to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority.
7.2

Two ways to ask, and neither needs an account

Email support@roxantique.shop with what you want. Or telephone +1 197 537 5933 and tell us.

You do not need to create an account to make a request, and you do not need to sign in to one. We ask only for enough information to be reasonably sure the request is yours, and we do not use anything you give us for verification for any other purpose.

An authorised agent may make a request for you with written permission.

7.3

How quickly, and at what cost

We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If a request is genuinely complex we may extend that once by a further 45 days and will tell you why before we do.

Requests are free. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive we may decline it, and we will explain why and how to challenge that.

7.4

No penalty for exercising a right

We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right. Exercising one does not change your price, your plan, your allowance, the quality of the service or your access to it, and there is no loyalty scheme or discount tied to giving up any of these rights.

8

Global Privacy Control

This site recognises the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends it, we treat it as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for that browser, and we do not require you to do anything else.

That opt-out is applied to the browser sending the signal. Because nothing is sold or shared for advertising here in any case, the practical effect is confirmation rather than change — but the signal is read, honoured and recorded rather than ignored.

You can also make the request explicitly on the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

9

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and no account may be created for one. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and if we learn that we have, we delete it and close the account.

A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has given us information should write to support@roxantique.shop and we will delete it.

10

Security and where data is held

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service and is logged.

The service is operated from the United States and information may be processed there. Where information is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, it is transferred under the appropriate safeguards, including the standard contractual clauses.

If a breach affects your personal information we notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

11

Changes

If this policy changes materially we email account holders before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
